How a decision is made

A case arrives, the rules take hold, one of four outcomes lights up: autonomous, query, release required, watch. Watch how the outcome changes with the case. The processes behind it are described, not programmed — a specialist reads the rule and recognises their own directive in it. The maturity level sets how much a process may do on its own; medicine and insurance never decide autonomously.

  1. Case arrives — from a document, an e-mail or a specialist system
  2. Process selected — by type and department
  3. Rules applied — thresholds, deadlines, responsibilities
  4. Outcome determined — autonomous, query, release required, watch
  5. Stop at a person — wherever the maturity level demands it (decided by a person)
  6. Reasoning filed — which rule, which value, which reason

No case disappears. "Watch" is a decision too — it is logged and presented again when the related transaction arrives.
